Mark wtb: .76 or .80 fith gear! I need by Friday



Dan, if you can feel the difference between a .76 and a .75 fifth gear, you
should hire yourself out as a calibrated test device. You're talking about
the difference of 3066 (.75) versus 3106 rpms (.76) at 70mph. That is a gap
of just 1.3%. Can you really discern 40rpm? I think not! Meanwhile, the .80
will deliver 3270 rpms at 70mph. That is a jump of 6.2% -enough to notice,
but nothing to fret about, in my opinion.

Besides, you want a nice cruise, right? Why else go to the trouble?
