Newbie Questions (long)



Most of the idle-shake will be from a worn passenger side mount. The front
mount primarily reduces front-to-back engine rock when accelerating.

If you don't know the history of the car, I'd replace all the mounts with
new, TT (and others, I'm sure) offer a pretty good discount for buying them
all at once.

Don't forget your timing belt either, while you are replacing rubber
components of unknown history...
