Battery relocation (was Re: car stereo install accessories)

        If you look in your trunk, right below the tail lights (inside), =
you will see several square holes with plastic clips stuck through them =
to hold on the bumper cover (I think that's what they were for). I =
replaced a coulpe of these clips with ~2" long bolts. I used these to =
bolt a decent piece of wood to the back of the car. I then built a box =
around the battery using this piece of wood as a base. If anyone has a =
site to which I can post it, I'll go take some pictures. Worked out =
really well. Battery is very secure. Note: Mine is an Optima type =
(licensed from them and made by Champion), so I don't have it in a box, =
but this method should be adaptable to boxes.=20
