How screwed am I? (Was: won't start after cam installation)



I'd think that if there was interference it wouldn't be running. Not sure 
though. Anyone out there ever have an engine run _after_ interference damage 
has occurred?

Well, since you've got the distributor cranked so much, I'd guess that your 
timing isn't as "spot on" as you first thought. Line up all those marks as 
discribed in your Bently. Start with the ones you can see without taking off 
the intake and everything. If those are right, then I guess you're going to 
have to take another look at the cams.
