Fwd: Re: Question for seller --(re:$600 fender)

I think we are all just hit a little hard in the 'rocco gut' by this guy listing the parts for
that much $$. Contents of Al's 'rocco gut' (contains much unintentional flameage, please ignore if
necessary):
- I see building sciroccos is a (relatively) 'cheapass'(tm) sport. I've probably spent $600 on parts
for the twin. Sure i'll spend more, but for $600 i've got a trailer donor (with a 2l), 2 turbos,
rotors, suspension, all kindsa crap. I guess the 'rocco gut' contains part of rons 'cheapass gut'.
- we need to keep more of them on the road, selling fenders at $600 a pop isnt gonna make that easy.
- i hate people overcharging for stuff. i know some people might be willing to pay $600 for a
fender, just seems a tad excessive on the price to me.
- i hate it when some newbie (ebay- his feedback = 0) jumps on there and lists something not knowing
anything about ebay economics (should start it low, set reserve, etc).

anyhow, im off, heading down to the school tonight to do some ecu bench testing.
