Re: head work



No offense Riley, but why should you not deck the head to minimum spec? And 
what is minimum spec BTW? I have had heads decked to .060 and have no 
problems. AFAIK, the only problem that can be encountered by machining the 
head past .080 is that you might have to relocate the position of the 
tensioner stud. IMHO, machining the head more than .060 might rewuire more 
money and time than its worth for a DD. But other than that I would 
definitely machine it to .040 for a DD.
