I lost my keys while boating once, but i had a spare in the glove box of my 
'84 Scirocco.  i called the cops... but they could not get in with a 
slim-jim! they had a real hard time.  Lucky for me, i had been working on the 
A/C, so i went in through the rain tray with a long wire and popped the lock 
from the inside... yeah, that was fun.
