  afaik, there are no ball bearings. of course, i've never had one that
dead before. the one i've got now is roaring as i go down the road. when
i jerk the wheel slightly one way the sound goes away (should go away
when the pressure's taken off). big sound difference after it's been
changed (how did i live with it before?).
