RE: best motor mount configuration?



Randy-
  Thanks for your input.  I had read that Section in the Bentley (3-27)
several times.  It tells me to loosen all mounts, move the engine until the
mounts are aligned, and tighten the mount fasteners.  My problem is that the
rear mount will not let the engine/trans move fore and aft so that the
passenger- and driver-side mounts can achieve alignment.  Since none of
these three mounts are individually adjustable, I cannot achieve correct
alignment.  Either my engine is tweaked (not bloody likely), my car's body
is tweaked (possible, but no evidence of a major hit exists), or the mount
brackets are tweaked (most likely of the three).  Any other possibilities,
anyone?
