Re: Drag Racing Results

OK,

I got the slip in front of me now. Here are the particulars. First, for all
the info on my car, just look in the profiles section of www.scricooc.org.
:) Otherwise, just look at my signature line.

OK Here it is...

> Quaife?
No, but I have the Velocity stage II kit, and for $100 I'm very impressed.

Yokohama A032R's

Never checked, and I didn't lower the pressures from normal street driving.
At least 29 psi, I would guess.

> shocks?
Koni gas adjustable with Neuspeed sport springs. Stiffer ones are coming
soon.

> didja strip the interior?
No, I just removed the spare tire and back seat. I weighed the car at the
track and it was 2100 lb.s with no driver. I weigh 170.

> 60ft times?
2.279, 2.258, 2.311, 2.267, 2.471, 2.317, 2.353

> Reaction times?
.769, but my best of the night was .571, with a run of 15.154

This was the first time I ever ran my Scirocco in a drag race, and only my
second time ever with any car. I'm a total novice at it, and just did it for
the experience.
