I AM Dave and I don't have first hand knowledge of this setup but was told
by a very reliable source that this setup is a nice high reving setup that
can produce nice low/medium/and especially high rpm power.  Plus, if you can
source a 1.8L 16v head, the setup would be rather cheap!!  I don't know
about the 1.5L but I am seriously thinking about doing this in a drag car
for next year (I like experimenting)!!  The 16v head only needs the same
modding as a later 8v head since the oil returns are the same.  HTH!!
