Yeah, I was the one who asked the original question, but I had
thought they were actually some sort of reinforced hose. I pretty
much lost interest when I found out it was just a covering. I am
always up for anything that increases the longevity on a part, but I
really don't tend to care what my car looks like under the hood.







The goal is to overcome the deliberate nature of the process.
