Re: Engine dressing stuff



Lloyd,
    If its that steel braiding that you are talking about, properly
installed it will increase longevity, since the rubber itself no longer
tries to expand as temp/press goes up. That task is taken over by the steel
braid. You have only to make sure you pull both ends taught (making it
collapse around the hose), before cutting/installing end caps.
