RE: Sacrilege?

Yeah There is mine Grin, in the tech procedures of the site, electrical
mods, relaying euro lights.
or just click below on the "quick link to that page". there are two other
sites I know of, one is a link from scirocco.organd another came from a Hell
web site (explaines basic electrical idea about why you shoudl relay lights
(I sort of took on that bit)

hmm this talk of killing switches is worrying me. im running unrelayed
euros right now. dims are VERY DIM, but brights work really well. so
far the switch seems to be ok. I've also noticed my fuel pump changes
pitch when i put the lights on. would relaying the lights help
something like that too?

koabi

ps: i saw a tech procedure on some website that listed what relays to
get and where and did a pretty good job at explaining the procedure,
anyone know the site?

Speaking from experience. I raided every light switch in 3 yards for my
16v... I smoked 4 inside of 4 months that i owned the car. THe first
time
i smoked ithe switch... the PO had the euros installed and the "worked"
enough not to get stopped. Couldnt see shit with em tho. So I dropped
another one in and it worked about a week, then i lost dash lights...i
figured big deal... until I noticed the no taillights. THis was the case
on every switch until i relayed the lights. Easy way to tellis to put
your
finger on the switch if it's hot relay the lights or you'll be ording a
new one from potterman.

Have a nice day..
