I was pretty sure that's what I saw on that car and was hoping I didn't have something weird in there (like that 78 1457cc?) that wasn't supposed to be there.

When I got my 79 it had an O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold with the wire just hanging there.  Now I knew that they only put those in 80 CA versions and all 81's.  I suspected that somebody had just swapped in a whole 1.7.  They did.  It had an "H" block and when I scraped the crap off the SN plate, it was an EN code.

Oh, well.  More torque, less HP.  Trade off.
