Re: Slipping out of gear



Just recently had this problem with my 89 cabriolet.  In my case it turned
out to be the shifter bushings.  The basicly wore slap out and caused the
car to slip out of 5th even if I was holding the shifter in position.
INstallation of new bushing kit and problem solved.

This may not be the same problem tha tyour having but it's always worth a
look.  Specialy if your shifter kinda feels sloppy.
