Re: while i was working on the engine...



Its the one closest to the drivers fender...on mine... but I would pop the
boot off and look inside. both connections "terminate" into the same device,
One side(of the device) has a brass thing (I would call it a jet or meter)
screwed into it. The other side is flat and you can not see a hole in it.
The warm-up valve is connected to the flat side.
The reason I mention this is that the device in the boot can be installed in
either direction. My last 16v was installed  in the opposite direction by
the PO. This caused horrible vacuum problems. HTH
