Warm up hot air valve, located below and towards the front of the car
from the airbox.  Follow the intake tube down below the battery, and
you'll find it.  It has a vacuum connection on it, that's what it
goes to.  That subsystem is designed to duct hotter air from the
exhaust manifold area to the intake box during cold (enough) starts.

As far as your plugs are concerned, I'd actually drive the car for a few
hundred miles (at least) before using the plugs to diagnose engine running
issues.  Also, during initial start and warm up the fuel system actually is
enriching the mixture...hence a possible source for what might seem an
over fueling condition.  Bottom line is not to sweat it until you've driven
it for a bit IMO.
