The A2 stuff wont fit in your A1 Chassis (I asked too) You should get a
manifold and dual downpipe that fits Rabbit/Scirocco etc. Your choices
include Tectonics, Euro, and/or N.A. standard. You should be sure to run
an O2 sensor so need to spec a fitting be on which ever you go with. (I
think the Euro manifold is different but the down pipe is the same size
as the N.A., other than stud sizes)

Cant help with that one directly but I wonder if you have the GLI
available?
