O2 crimp v weld



Read your post on scirocco digest.  There is element of truth in it, but 
good solder connection should first be mechanical, copper to copper.  
Solder should seal/reinforce.  Ask the Bosch boys how that O2 sensor lead 
is sensitive to soldering at lead join and not on the circuit board inside 
the computer.  Guarantee they solder leads in there.

All IMO, of course, but soldering leads might keep corrosion away, but 
notice you did mention the shrink tube.

And I'm too lazy to look up all the electomotive potentials of all the 
metal junctions to see if its substantial or significant.  Good advice to 
keep the impedence near design limits, though.
