Re: need help, scirocco's rear is screwed



Frankly it's a bit hard to decipher exactly what went
on here.  Is this right: 
The first guy couldn't align the car because of a bent
wheel.  But you say that the wheels ain't bent?  And
screwed up the alignment anyway.
The second guy (EIP, what is that?) apparently did an
OK alignment. And now all is well, right?  Where's the
problem?

What was the symptom that caused you to get an
alignment in the first place?  Does the rear
alighnment look odd viewed from behind?  Do you have
excess tire wear in the rear?  Handle like total shit
in the rain?

If you *do* have a problem, it could be the rear beam,
bushings, or spindle.  If it were the spindle, you'd
probably have been eating rear bearings.  Otherwise,
the alignment shop should have told you!
