Gary,
Find someone you trust that is an insurance agent.
Go through him/her to find an insurance company for your car(s).
It may cost you a little more than going through the average Joe, but will
probably be worth it in the end.
I was very lucky to find a fellow Mk1 Scirocco enthusiast (and good friend)
to take care of insuring the twins. :)
He also has helped many other Scirocco and VW owners locally.
I feel much better knowing that if that highly feared yuppie Soccer mom goes
"thump thump" over the top of me and Mars in her gas guzzling Ford
Exhibition while talking on the phone, writing down her shopping list and
slapping her kid in the back seat (all at the same time) and I survive,
Craig will be there to make sure I'm properly compensated for all my
injuries and some of the blood, sweat and tears of labor that have gone into
my Scirocco.
Problem is I don't know a good lawyer to defend me when I KILL her....Ok,
just jokin' :P, but I will be VERY pissed.

Maybe we could get a Scirocco.org "group buy" on insurance. :^D
Once we get Rubens Scirocco running and I put Cosmos safely in the garage
maybe I could qualify for that Antique/Classic/Collectible insurance?
