The TS definately doesn't have the single squares.

The  TS was the first Scirocco sport edition in 1974
and had the 1.5 liter  85PS engine. 

according to my Scirocco book it had compared to the L-Version :
- double round halogen lights
- sidestripes with rubber profile
- double sound horn
- integrated headrests
- and the center-console with clock, voltmeter and additional space
- RPM  instead of clock

optional on the TS :
- fuelcap with keylock
- compoundglass windshield
- rear fog light
- special seat cloth designs

the square lights were only used in the "L" Models that time.

I remember seeing one of these in San Luis Obispo, CA back in the 80's.  I 
made a mental note and left it.  I recall it was yellow and I think it had 
single rectangular headlights.
