Re: Boreing 1.8 16v??



The 92.8 crank will fit in the 1.8 block with a little clearancing of
the wall of the crankcase and auxillary shaft. The 95.5 crank will fit
in the 2.0 block. It might need the same clearancing.
You can't reduce the circumference of the crank because the part that
sticks out the most is the side of the rod not the crank counterweights,
so 1/2 rod width + 1/2 stroke will determine the side distance required
from the crank centerline for the crank to fit.
Deisel bore should be around 79.5mm.
