rice, rice burner... to rice or not to rice... Hell come to the track!

I prefer the Sleeper look personally..

My best sleeper was a 1971 Maverick, look stock, pale faded baby blue,
nothing special at first look, perhaps the lock pins with padlock on the
hood would pass for rice.

The car took me 4 years to build, 429 Cobra Jet, 6 Pack atop it with racing
engineered parts and work done on it, the tranny was also from a 429 cobra,
12 bolt lock, 5 speed, big daddy slip, 60;'s all around the car ( no this is
NOT rice, but very common in the town I live in).

I have eaten 1/4 miles drag races boys with their toys all the time. That
puppy cost me 12K to build from bottom up, (really Ron cheap ass specialist
bullet!) and I sold it after I made over 30K on the track with it, and 25K
additional from a cop that bought from me, the car ran low 9's on the track.
on the road, it purred, and defiantly attracted attention when running...
but parked... not even the dogs looked at it.

My voice is, Rice is nice, Rice is cute, to each their own, but if you are
in a rice burner, and step up the plate on a track ( and truly be a man and
show the world (well at least the official and people attending) what your
car is worth, otherwise, all a rice burner is, is a danger to all
automobilists on the road, cause they think cutting people at 70moph in
traffic is cool, and fun, right up to the point where some yahoo in a pick
up truck did not see him and smacks into him and delays my coming home from
a long day.

want to rice your car.... here have another spoiler.
want to be a rice burner... hope you filled your donor's card
otherwise, come one the track and show me what you got, otherwise just shut
the fuck up!

<disclaimer >> I am not posting to anyone in particular, Nor am I attempting
to judge anyone on this list, this is only my personal opinion, as many have
before Myself done with out a flame wars being educed. if you don't
understand ask a question, otherwise see y'all on the track.
