Chris, what is the outside temp where you are. in the AM? in the PM?

Also, consider the new oil is cleaning things that might have been
gummed up as well as it is a different weight. You might be better off
with the next step down, 10w40 or 0w30.

Does your car have an oil pressure gauge you can read in the cabin?
