Re: Still missing



The fuel pump relay can be intermittent on occasion if it's old. Try
removing the relay and jumpering the two large contacts and see if the
problem goes away. Another test is after the engine has been running a
while (the relay will get hot from the current) stop the engine and then
turn on the ignition without starting the engine. As you turn on the
ignition you should hear the pump run for a couple seconds. If it runs
when the relay is cold but not when it's hot the relay is on the way
out.
