Tranny upgrade options?

One of these days (when TT sends me my darn Cams) 
I will be dropping my built 2.0l into  my 81s.

I had planned on running the stock o2o trans with 
a quiaffe- but hear that i might be safer to swap.
[I do plan on swapping to 100mm flanges, etc.]

My questions are:

Is it true that the quaiffe would be of little 
value over 150 HP? Aside from added strength to my 
existing tranny?

If i were to swap or upgrade my trans, what would 
i swap too?  A cable type?  How difficult would 
this be and how costly (buying the tranny) what 
else will I need to buy to accompli9sh this feat?

Im getting torn between just getting this thing 
done and doing her right the first time.
