Re: Hot Start Pulse Relay or Lambda Realy - does anybody know more than the Bentley

After the test drive, it was still hesitating between 3500~4200 rpm. Damn I
was pissed off, so I pulled the tester out and started checking current
loads again. Everything was fine, that was until I turned on the lights on
high. My amp output went to <5 amps and the car started to hesitate even
worse only under load. WTF I think, so I get in the truck and head to
Autozone on the outside chance they have a voltage regulator (to my
amazement they did $29). Go home and put it in and viola, the car ran like a
top pulled through the rpm (now charges at 13.6 volts and 62 amps). The
reason it was missing is because the coil didn't have enough amps to deliver
a full charge when under a heavy load, it always idled fine (no load). It
only took a month and half to chase all the gremlins and in the process i
got to replace many parts. I think I had a cascading failure as one
component failed it took the next one in series with it. Thanks for all the
insight, I'll keep you posted on how it runs.
