RE: Vehicle transport, anyone ever do this?



I have to pipe up. We towed the 80 rocco up to cincinatti on the back of a
van with a bumper hitch... and remember 2500 < 5000....
so the bumper hitch will work just get a tow _DOLLY_ and you'll be fine...
just make sure you actually use the chains and tow it correctly.

previously towed a 77 chevy 1/2 (33"tires) with a 88 GMC 1/2 ton with a
bumper hitch and a tow dolly just fine for 700 mi had to put both spares
on the front of the 77 so it would FIT between the tow dolly fenders.
