Thanks...

I think I'll use the cardboard they were in when i bought them, to determine the size of the hole I have to cut. We have a "scissor" for metal plates...it'll probably do the job.
I can see the problem with the handle for the windows...where can I buy spacers - or is it something that can be homemade ?
My car is not equipped with the pockets in the door cards, it only had a Blaupunkt plastic grill mounted over the hole for the speaker.

I don't think my car ever has been equipped with a radio - the hole for the radio in the dash is covered by a plastic plate. I took it off and I can't seem to find any wiring for the radio inside the dash. Is there anyone who have had to re-wire the wires to the radio. I don't mind if the ignition switch isn't attached...I like to hear radio when my car is turned of ;-) But I'll need the wiring for the memory and the main power...anyone know from where I can steal it?
I've just remembered something..my car doesn't have an antenna - DAMN
Where is the best place to put the antenna...I'd like to avoid stripping the roof of the car so I guess a 16V style antenna is out of the Q?

Well - thanks alot for the answers...I think I'll be messing with it tomorrow - I can't wait ;-)
I think I'll change the oil while I'm at it...I have som 20W-50 I think its called Pennzoil Performance GT or something like that. Anyone have any experience with it? What type of oil do you all use?

I also have a hole or something in my header or exhaust-manifold...It's a bit noisy, it actually sounds like a diesel ;-) Worst part is I'm getting fumes into the car at every stoplight...I think I'll better take a look at it before I kill myself in exhaust fumes...wouldn't be a bad place to die though...in the front seat of the Scirocco.

Thanks alot!

Morten
