I'd get a lawyer and take that to court. You'll get the ticket totally 
thrown out, forget about getting it reduced. A buddy of mine in Tampa 
just had somebody pull out in front of him and he rammed them in his '99 
Vette. He told me he was probably speeding, but couldn't be for sure. 
When the cop asked him how fast he was going, he said about "45" (the 
speed limit) and the cop was like "uhhuh, the speed limit?" showing her 
disbelief. In the end, however, the other guy got a ticket. I also, had 
somebody pull out in front of me once and I rammed the curb in my 'roc 
in order to avoid a wreck. I was definitely speeding, which the other 
party claimed, cop said doesn't matter, they have to yield the 
right-of-way to oncoming traffic. Fight this, you can win.
