Get a lawyer! It is really a mistake to deal with ANY court without a
lawyer. I see many people getting bum deals because they figured they
didn't need a lawyer for traffic court, but that is not how it has to
be. You will find that the entire situation changes the second a
lawyer gets involved. I have gotten 17 different tickets, and my
driving record is completely without flaw, because I have had my
lawyer deal with all of them. Don't let them shaft you because you
are young. You have just as much right as a 56 year-old man. If the
cop didn't witness the accident then his opinion of what caused the
accident has almost no bearing on the situation, and you should not
have your insurance rates jacked up simply because he liked the old
guy better.







The goal is to overcome the deliberate nature of the process.
