I bet $100cdn (about $0.01 US) that your problem is not the wheels, but your
wheel bolts!  If you are using VW bolts on an aftermarket rim, they usually
will not seat properly.  VW bolts have a spherical seat while most
aftermarket wheels have 60 degree or something like that seat.  I recently
changed to properly seating bolts and now my car drives smooth as a sailboat
(......on rails..hehe)
