Hehehe, you been smokin more crack man!  AUGs CAME in A1s!  I know, just
yanked one out of Katy's 91 Cabriolet! :-)

This I know, with using bolts from both transmissions and the studs, I was
able to use the trans from a A3 car! (CHE code I believe, from the 97 Golf
that I pulled the ABA from).  So yes, it is as easy as threading in the
studs and doing some creative bolting for the linkage....just like fittin
legos together!
