(tech) brake bleeding

I turned my rear rotors and decided to go ahead and replace the brake fluid.
This is what I did.

use a seringe to suck old brake fluid out of master cylinder
fill master cylinder back up with castrol gtlma (after each caliper filled
it back up)
put rubber tube on back pas side bleeder valve open valve
have someone pump brake pedel until it is clean fluid coming out
then close valve
then move to driver side rear brake
then pas front brake
then driver front brake

the fluid was really dirty, looked like coffee. When I first open valve on
pas front brake and the peddle was pumped no fluid was coming out. then
after some crackling and about 5 pumps to the floor fluid started coming
out. when this happened I did notice some brake fluid leaking from where
the brake booster meets the master cylinder, however is not leaking anymore.
now that i am finished the peddle will not firm up, stills go to the floor,
however i noticed that if the engine is running and i pump the brake the
idle lowers in rpm and if the engine is turnging 4000 rpm the peddle feels
firmer and will not go to the floor.

also bently says to fill past max level but dont push peddle down all the
way the first two times (only half way) because you could blow a seal for
the push rod

now question is did i blow a gasket for the brake booster?

what did i do wrong?

what to do now?

thanks

Robert
