I'm with this one, 8v or not you can have guts without it being stupid loud.

Large diameter pipe (2.25"), cat, mid resonator, non straight through
muffler on the end, port & polish 4-2 OEM manifold (& intake), larger
Fox/A2 throttle body, G grind cam, regular air box (non swiss cheesed),
new motor mounts, new shift linkage bushings, SS brake lines, med stock
roll bars, softsport springs- What's not to like?

And then there is the simple 2.0L bottom end. Grunt don't gotta be loud.
