Damn Radiator fan!!

HEY LIST,

MY radiator fan is hitting in my 88 16V rocco, its not cooling properly, 
should i replace the fan with the same kind or,...........what i wanna do is 
drop a double fan in there. From a passat or somthing , is this possible?? 
What kind of car do i need to get this double out of, thanks
