   Never had a MK1 'rocco but the Rabbits had tapped/threaded holes for the
mirror underneath a plastic piece.

Does anybody know if MK1 passenger doors that came
WITHOUT the mirror actually have the mounting hardware
under the doorskin?  I know that my original pass side
door looks like the holes were drilled out afterward
for the mirror to be mounted.  Reason I'm asking is
because I found much better doors from a junkyard
yesterday but the passenger one does not have a
mirror.  Thanks in advance!
