yeah you can spend a grand at a yard and get one that has no guarentee adn
might be blown up
vw sells new ones for around 2500-2800 if memory serves me right, other
shops i have seen sellign them for 1800-2800 for new rebuilt units, but once
agian they are rare adn gettign rarer...
you should definitly plan to spend thmoney ont eh charger but keep in mind,
it might be a can of works, the average rebuild for the sc is about 800-1200
