[OT] What ever happend to Chris Taylor?

Picked this up off the A2-GTI 16v list...there are probably only a
handful of us here that will remember Chris (and his fat mouth,
black 16v Scirocco wanna be G60 and then a Corrado G60 turned VR6 at
EIP of all places) and you know who you are.

But hey, this is real life for ya.

>hey guys, just got back from my long weekend. it was supposed to be a
>three day jaunt, but unfortuntaely turned into a 5 day nightmare....

>last wednesday morning, one of my best friends, Chris Taylor, was killed
>while riding to work on his motorcycle. he was behind a tractor trailer
>at an intersection, and followed the truck through the intersection when
>the light turned green. a lady in a station wagon was making a left
>hand turn coming from the other direction and "didnt see him".
>
>she hit him.
>and that was it.
>he was 22.
>
>before getting into bikes (he had two gsxr 750's) he was a die hard VW
>guy, owning 5 of them in his short time as a liscensed driver. many of
>you on this list may not recognize his name, but he was part of the

>he only started riding a year or two ago, but became instantly hooked.
>on mothers day weekend of this year, he went to a riding school at

>he could take his addiction off the street and on to the safety of a

>its ironic that from all the "near death" and "triple digits" stories i
>heard, he was killed going less than probably 20mph. i know for a fact
>that brice and one other guy on this list (sorry i forget your name, but

>thanks for the bandwidth.

>ps. i know i owe a couple of you guys emails...ive got alot of work to
>catch up on, but ill get them out eventually. :-)
