rev limiters

Wondering what if any rev limiters you guys use. I was looking at the
jacobs electronics opto timer. You can change the timing of your engine
on the fly, also change your rev limits. I plan on going to a shaved
head and though being able to mess with thetiming would be really handy!
Any ides?
