I have a complete Techtonics exhuast on my 16V.  It was less than $300
for the cat back. All the Midas and Speedy Muffler types around here
wanted $750 or better for an original.

The new system has been on there for about 2 years now with no
problems.  It is no louder than what I had before, but it has a fun
sound when I have the windows down.  Not louder, just different.
