$2k car needed pronto!

Does anybody have a line on a car available immediately in SoCal in the $2k
range?  My GTI will be gone as of Monday or Tuesday, and the Scirocco will
be in the paint shop for another 3 weeks or so.  I want to pick up a
"transportation" car for about $2k to keep long-term, but I need it asap!
Could be an old GTI/Scirocco/Beetle whatever (veedub preferred, natch).  If
anyone has a line - please let me know.  I plan to go scouting and hopefully
close a deal on something on Sunday.
