again, right?  (Buy a "domestic" VW, that is... :) )

I often have said that if I wanted to buy (North) American, I'd buy a
chevy, not a Westmoreland VW.  Having said that, I _DID_ drive an 85 Golf
(actually, my wife drove it more than I did) for a while.  It's
the only VW I ever bought parts at NAPA for - the parking lamp
socket assemblies were Delco - 71-80 GM applications for $6.00 at
the local NAPA, $40 at the local dealer.  Go figure...
