You can go with a 92.8mm crank and 83.5mm 8.6:1 pistons and have a 2035cc
G60. The crank can come out of a 2.0 16V or the A-3 8V. The block will
have to be clearanced for the crank but you have a sweet end product. If
you wanted to take the displacement even HIGHER, you could use a TDI
crank (95.5mm) but you would need to start with a 2.0 block of some kind.
