Re: Clearcoat answer



All  Scirocco's I thought were single stage enamels.

Metallic) were/are 2 stage paint (clearcoat). This is
also true of my 1982 Scirocco.

>From my experience with clearcoat finishes (VW), I
have to agree with the preference for the single stage
paint.
