GTX for free

Hello listers,

today I found an addy in the newspaper
"Scirocco parts or whole car for sale "
and as I had to get some Euro-lights for a list member,
I drove there.
I found a man and a girl, just putting their furniture in a truck,
as they were moving.

I asked the guy about the lights, and he showed me where the car was standing,
gave me the key and told me that I can remove the lights.
I went to the car, it was a flawless dark grey GTX, and I went back.
I claimed that there must be a mistake, the car is great, so why should I get the lights out ?
He replied that he had to move, therefore to sell his car 
and nobody was interested in buying it so far.

The , suddenly he asked me " do you want to have it for free ? "
I was totally puzzled, tempted to say "YES !" but then I realized that I already own
three Sciroccos and I said "NO", being aware that Tina killed me if I returned home with
a fourth Scirocco.
It was not an easy decision and it still hurts a bit.
So I just removed the lights and the GTX rear wing for Jonas, gave that guy 130 DM
but I told the guy to call him again tomorrow.

The car is a dark grey GTX, with 140.000km an the chassis and 40.000km
on the modified DX-engine with Schrick cam, that was dynoed with 142 HP. 
The winter wheels on it are on ATS cup rims and only have about 500km.
It also has a Bilstein suspension setup.
It isnt starting for some electrical problem, which was the reason why it wasn't sold.

if anybody is interested to come over here and get it, the car is located in Huchenfeld
near Pforzheim/West-Germany.
I just can't take Nr. 4 without getting massive trouble with my wife...
