I guess now's as good a time as any to get this stuff
posted...  suggestions / questions???


The Event:
Scirocco List Cruise-In / Tech Procedure Weekend.

Date:
June 2, 3 & 4, 2000

Location:
My house, near Wilmington Ohio. (zip 45177) LOTS and LOTS
of off street parking.  (10+ acres of grass)

Schedule Of Events:
Friday June 2
-"Early" arrival day.  Nothing planned, just hangin' out
with everyone who arrives.  (I'm guessing a the majority of
those attending)

Saturday June 3
-Tech procedure day.  Enlist other list member's expertise
in getting some of those little projects done.
-Dinner (6:00 ish?) Fire up the grille and char some
burgers / dogs.  Chef position currently open. :)

Sunday June 4
-9:00 AM (UGH! Morning!) Caravan to Xenia Ohio for "Larry's
Spring Nationals" car show and drag event.  Info:

This is primarily an air-cooled show, but watercooleds are
welcome.  According to their site, more watercooled show
classes are to be added.  (Should I see if they'll make a
special Scirocco class???)

-Wilmington Inn (located in Wilmington) Ph: (937) 382-6000.

*I have some camping space available, but please check with
me beforehand.

Directions:
Driving-
-Find on your map the intesection of I-71 and U.S. 68 -
about 5 miles north of Wilmington Ohio.
-From this intersection, travel approx. 1 mile South on
U.S. 68 to Gurneyville Rd.  (Just beyond 300ft. tower - you
can't miss THAT.)
-Turn Right (West) on Gurneyville Rd.
-Travel approx. 1 mile on Gurneyville, through the
intersection of Curry Rd.
-Two driveways are on the LEFT at the top of the next rise
- you want the 2nd one.  (DIRT)  Address is 1353
Gurneyville Rd.
-If you cross over I-71 while on Gurneyville Rd, you've
gone too far.
-Also, the airport beacon is located AT my house, so if you
arrive after dark just home in on the rotating green &
white light.

Flying-  
-Fly into Clinton County Airport (I66) and WALK over.  :)
-Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus Airports are all about 1
hour's drive away - contact me / the list to see about a
pickup.


Anyone want to volunteer to throw up a caravan/registration
sight like Chris G. put up for the New Dimensions show???
