oil pressure problem

my scirocco has been having a little oil pressure problem in the past couple
of weeks. the oil pressure light buzzed a couple of times so i hooked up a
mechanical oil pressure gauge. it normally reads between 70 - 90 psi, but it
occasionally will drop to 20 psi. it mainly seems to happen during idling or
stop and go traffic, but it has come on at other times too. it's not losing
any oil and the valves don't make any noise. any ideas?

ps. it's an 88 scirocco 16v and recently i changed the oil and put in a new
filter. i'm not sure that this would effect anything, but i also put in new
air and fuel filters, replaced the plugs and wires and gave it a tune-up.
